Happy Accident

Since late summer I have been trying to write at least one haiku a day. I wanted to make sure I was writing something every day and I also wanted to start a new writing project. I post these haiku to and often write them through Twitter. I maintain a separate document of these haiku; today when I was working on that I found a hidden micropoem inside a poem, taking the first letter of each line. It stood out to me immediately when I read the haiku today (and also describes our neighborhood right now, as it did the day the first poem was written).
